Inception

Reflection

...The movie Inception relates to my tapestry theme because it has to do with dreams. The movie actually teaches us about dreams and how they relate to real life. They take in what your eyes see and use the images you have seen to create a 'planet' all your own.  This connects to "The Dream of Little Tuk" because in both dreams the main characters create  their own world and for a little amount of time they live there. The novel The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan is a little different in how Percy creates his dreams. He has never been in Florida before but he has powers that help him see Grover with the telepathic connection they share.
The main character Cobb created the dream world with seven different level and each is like it's own planet. On one of the levels Cobb created he had his wife (who has passed away in real life) with his children. In the movie Cobb is training a new dream creator her name  is Ariadne. Cobb tells Ariadne not to make any of the dream levels too personal or a place she would get attached too. He knew this could happen by personal experience. This is just like real life and how people sometimes feel that their dreams are better than reality and wish they were true. People should live their real life because that is what our future is and the future is ours...
